The Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) is a federal agency established in 1988 with the main purpose of allowing the free flow of traffic and regulating the highways.

The agency takes care of all issues related to roads and highways. Every year, FRSC recruits unemployed undergraduates and graduates to reduce the risk of unemployment in the country.

Duties of The Federal Road Safety

FRSC Requirements

In order to be eligible for the Federal Road Safety Corps recruitment, candidates must meet up with the following requirements

  • Must be a Nigerian
  • Must be within the age range 18-30 years
  • Must be single and have no spouse.
  • Must be a computer literate
  • Having a driver’s license would be an added advantage.
  • Must be of good character and not a convict of any crime

Furthermore, the requirements needed by FRSC include, males candidates having a height of not less than 1.68m and females not less than 1.63m. Also, male candidates must have a fully expanded chest of not less than 0.87m.

Candidates will only be eligible to apply for FRSC recruitment if there is one or all of the following certificate; B.Sc/HND/NCE/OND certificate from any reputable institution, SSCE/WAEC certificate with not less than 3 credits including English language and NYSC discharge certificate.

Shortlisted candidates

After the application process, the Federal Road Safety will publish the list of shortlisted candidates.

Qualified candidates will be invited for a computer-based aptitude test which will be organized by Jamb.

On the day of the interview, candidates are advised to go with their printout and acknowledgement form. Shortlisted candidates would be subjected to a drug test with the NDLEA before they can be hired.

It should be noted that the application form for FRSC is free and you shouldn’t give anyone money to get the form for you. Also, for Doctors applying for any position in the agency, the age limit is 18-35 years.

Any certificate not presented during the screening process won’t be accepted anymore during the course of working with the FRSC.

In fact, tendering fake certificate during the application process can lead to prosecution and disqualification.

Salary Structure Of Federal Road Safety Corps
