Nigerian Air Force 2023/2024 Recruitment.

The long-awaited Nigerian Air Force Recruitment for 2023/2024 has finally been announced and interested candidates have begun their application process.

The form is usually released every year for the sole purpose of taking in new men and injecting fresh blood . We all know how fast soldiers retire these days so it is very important that new ones are taken in.

Without the Nigerian Air Force, a lot of attacks would have hit the nation via the airspace. This is because it is very easier to attack by air than any other means.

That is why we need the Air Force very well. The Air Force personnel are trained to fight in air and also how to fight on land like the Nigerian Army. So, they fit anywhere in the Military asides the Navy.

The Nigerian Air Force was established in 1961. when the Nation’s Military were on a Peace-keeping mission to countries like Tanzania. Foreign aircrafts were used to transport the men in the Nigerian Army to those countries. The Nigerian Army then felt the pressing need to create another section of the military. This led to the birth of the Nigerian Air Force.Airforce

Since then, the Nigerian Air Force has been recruiting men and women into their services. So, if you want to join the Nigerian Air Force, you will be shown how to do that easily without having to go through people.

So, I will show you what these categories are and what you will need to enrol.

1. Regular Combatant (RC).

The Regular Combatant Commission is a 5 year intensive military training at the Nigeria Defence Academy.

The Commission serves as a tertiary institution as well as a military one. Students spend four years studying a particular course and also do partical military trainings. The remaining one year is for a fully dedicated military training before graduation.Airforce Non-Tradesmen

The Graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s Degree and commissioned into the rank of the Second Lieutenant in the Nigerian Army.

In addition to the Nigerian Army rank, the Graduates are also given the rank of Midship Man in the Nigerian Navy, and Flying officer in the Nigerian Air Force, which is our primary concern here.

Interested students who wish to apply to the Nigerian Defence Academy must be at least 17 years and at most 21 years of age, at the time of application.

The Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) is a type of commission in the Nigerian Air Force which is open to both civilians and serving military personnel.

This kind of course receives applications from degree holders, who specialize in different fields like law Medicine, biochemistry, nursing, anatomy, engineering, accountancy, aeronautics and aerospace etc.Naf
